Lady Falcons Hold Off Faith Baptist For Home Win

The Kansas Christian women's basketball team earned a 57-56 win over Faith Baptist Bible College in Cowen Memorial Auditorium on Saturday afternoon. The win improves the Falcons to 12-7 on the season. 

The Falcons held a three point lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Kansas Christian only allowed eight Faith Baptist points and expanded their lead to nine going into halftime. Faith Baptist cut down the deficit in the third quarter to just two points. Kansas Christian led by six mid way through the fourth quarter, but Faith Baptist rallied again to take a lead late in the game. A pair of free throws from Brendeja Holloman would seal the win for the Falcons. 

Three Falcons scored in double figures with Danna Wagnon leading the way scoring 16 poitns. Brendeja Holloman finished with 13 points and Monique Hunt added 10 points. Ali Warner pulled down a team high eight rebounds. 

The Falcons now host College of the Ozarks at 5:30pm on Tuesday.
